About Me
I am a research fellow at Input|Output. Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. I obtained my PhD from the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Aggelos Kiayias, and hold a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
Research
I do research in the intersection of Distributed Computing, Cryptography, and Game Theory, with a special focus on blockchain-related topics.
- High-Throughput Permissionless Blockchain Consensus under Realistic Network Assumptions,
with Sandro Coretti, Matthias Fitzi, Aggelos Kiayias and Alexander Russell in Crypto 2025
- Blockchain Space Tokenization,
with Aggelos Kiayias, Elias Koutsoupias, and Philip Lazos in AFT 2024
- One-dimensional vs. Multi-dimensional Pricing in Blockchain Protocols, with Aggelos Kiayias, Elias Koutsoupias, and Kyriaki Zioga in WINE 2025
- Towards Permissionless Consensus in the Standard Model via Fine-Grained Complexity,
with Marshall Ball, Juan Garay, Peter Hall, and Aggelos Kiayias in Crypto 2024
- Ofelimos: Combinatorial Optimization via Proof-of-Useful-Work,
with Matthias Fitzi, Aggelos Kiayias and Alexander Russell in Crypto 2022
- Blockchains from Non-Idealized Hash Functions,
with Juan Garay and Aggelos Kiayias in TCC 2020
- Resource-Restricted Cryptography: Revisiting MPC Bounds in the Proof-of-Work Era,
with Juan Garay, Aggelos Kiayias, Rafail Ostrovsky, and Vassilis Zikas in Eurocrypt 2020
- Reliable broadcast with respect to topology knowledge,
with Aris Pagourtzis and Dimitris Sakavalas in DISC 2014
